I am on 2 weeks of Protein and Clear Liquids. They want me to find shakes that have less than 5 grams of fat and less than 5 grams of carbs. What does anyone recommend that taste decent. I haven't had the surgery yet, waiting on insurance and trying to get my BMI down some more. Thanks ya'll

I use Revival Chocolate daydream soy protein shakes with Splenda. they are avaiable at www.revival.com and only have 2.5 gram of fat,,and 20 grams of protein. I mix with water in my blender and put ice in them so they get good and cold . I think they taste good. Jan

Jan, I went to that site and all I got was revival ministries international, is that right? I have been looking for someplace to get protein shakes after my surgery. Are they very expensive?

I like the Profect Protica drinks. They come premixed and are less than 3 ounces with 25 grams protein, 0 carbs, and 0 fat. I think they taste great. They are kind of like jello that hasn't set up yet. I put them in the frig and get them good and cold and then just drink them. You can get them at www.profect.com. In fact, there is an ad next to this message board. They run about $2.56 per tube, which isn't cheap, but they are good and they are easy to take with you. The container is almost undistructible! I have also tried Unjury, but I like the Protica better. Linda

Can anyone tell me where you can buy protein in either Kansas City or St. Louis? It is very expensive here in London Ontario so when we go to Sedalia to visit my daughter in three weeks I want to stock up on some. Any good ideas? I use Champion Pure Whey Stack Chocolate but would like to try some others like IDS Cinnamon Vanilla and Unjury unflavored. Any help would be appreciated. Melanie

Any GNC store or vitamin store will be able to help you find what you need. Good luck. Wayne
