Thank you Jan, you're such a sweetheart. I'm going to call them today! I emailed Dr. Wagner's office in St. Louis, he operates at St. Alexius thru Heart of America Bariatrics. I got a response saying ... "Currently, St. Alexius is in process of getting certified to be a Center of Excellence. I am not really sure when that may be finalized. At this time, Dr. Wagner can not accept Medicare as a result of this situation." I wonder if that means that they will be accepting Medicare when they get their COE. Thanks again Jan, Lia

it means that the hospital will take medicare for weight loss surgery but that doctor wont. so hopefully they will have a doctor there that will take it. or why go to the trouble of getting their coe if they didnt have a doctor that will take medicare too. Jan
