I need to say goodbye

Today I need to say GOODBYE to all my bad habits I have finally decided enough is enough.  My hubby and I are doing this together, once again, but the the only thing different this time is I am saying goodbye to all the junk food, bread, chips, all the bad crap.  We are doing a liquid diet of cream soups, Sf pudding, Sf jello, water, coffee Breakfast shakes and protein shakes.  1 week and believe me I will need that whole week to get my ass back on track.  It is gonna suck BUT it is about time.

I weighed in last night at 182 and will not weigh myself until next Sunday night.
I am just pissed at myself for letting me get this way again.  NO MORE.......... I went from 300lbs  to 164 and now back up to 182 Makes me sick to think that it has happened I always said It won't happen to me, if I eat it this one time I won't eat it anymore, For everything I have been through I can treat myself to this and Blah Blah Blah..........Well today is when I stand up for me and say GOODBYE to old habits.................Well I hope my family is prepared for a major ***** on their hands LOL Just kidding .................... Wish me luck

Yes, this is a lifelong struggle, and food choices and grazing becomes our a nemesis. You are certainly not alone in this. Do put some protein powder in the soup, it will make you feel full longer.

Hey Marsha,

Wow your story is the exact same as mine, with the exception that I started my bad habit purge last week.  I had the headaches and hunger feelings when you go from junky carbs, sugar and all the other crap I was starting to eat.

I started by cleaning my cupboards, fridge and all other food places in our lives (yes I had stuff in my car).  I won't lie, it was a brutal week but it has been 7 days and I feel awesome.  I noticed that I no longer have that bloated feeling, my skin is bright and I have more energy, and that's in just 7 days.

You can do it, have faith in yourself and think of you and your husband as a team.

Good Luck!

Marsha,
I am both jealous and motivated that you have finally put the smack down on your carb monster and decided to do this for yourself!!! I am also happy to hear your hubby will do this with you as it AIN'T easy at all!! I don't think I could get my husband to give up one meal a day let alone do a liquid only diet. LOL!

I am anxious to hear how you start feeling after the first few (rough) days...and what you have been eating. Please keep posting!

I am thinking this process is in my very near future as well. I keep telling myself to just stop the needless nibbling on crap and eat better, more real proteins. But somehow, someway the needless crap just sneaks its way back into my mouth.

So, a clean break and debunk of my diet is in order.

Good luck to you!!!
