Back from a week at the Dells!

Welcome Back!   So glad to hear you felt good and not concerned about clothes, seats etc........that makes thiks journey all worth it!  :O)   The fact that you are taking such small amounts of your insulin is such a great thing,,,that is something to celebrate!

I am betting Hazel will say her vacation was better then yours! She appeared to be getting very spoiled.LOL. The Dells is a fun place to go and spend time. We don't go there anymore as the kids are grown and gone. Now we go to places like ohhh... The Worlds Biggest Bird Feeder (Corn Palace-Mitchell SD) LOL, Yep were getting old LOL

As for the Corn Palace?   I made a special trip there nearly 3 years ago to feed my Big & Rich addiction!  I think it's one of those sites that everyone ought to see at least once in their lives!!!

Did you end of mortgaging your first-born son?!     Nice as the Dells are, that place is a first-class tourist trap!

As far as 250+lbs. bikini-wearers go, I think it's a matter of trying to show the world that they don't care!! ((IMHO, of course!!))

The water slides ROCKED!!   My knee, on the other hand, was a bit rebellious.   It was good for the first 5, maybe 6 trips up all those stairs, but DANG!  Considering most of those suckers start about 3 to 5 stories above ground?  YOWCHIE!!!

As for the cost of the Dells?  Yeah, it's a tourist trap, and I'm a sucker with a capital "S" !!!  But it was actually only our third family vacation with all 4 of us (Rich has a pretty serious travel phobia), so I was trying not to be too frugal...  SWEATSHIRTS AND KEYCHAINS FOR EVERYONE!!!  And fudge, and knick-knacks, and a souvenier mega-margarita glass, and a frog for my collection, and....
