whats wrong with me
Marsha,
(((HUGS))) This journey is wonderful and frustrating at the same time.......I too have been bouncing from 148-155 for months now.......
It really does make a difference to drink water. My Bariatric nurse said for every coffee I drink I have to add 8oz. of water.........I guess the caffeine takes away the water or something....
Hang in there, sometimes I think our bodies get used to our eating routine, So try and do something different this week, maybe eat more protein and less of something else or have a protein shake instead of food. See if that helps........
Good luck, and I'm only a PM away if you need to talk.

Marsha, I can so relate to your frustration! Just a over a month ago, I'd gained 18 lbs and found it was indeed water weight. With your feeling lethargic and unenergized, IMHO, get blood worked up, definitely increase water and protein intake, Or try the 5DPT, which has worked for me several times to break out of a plateau or even knock down a gain and deflated the appetite for the nasty carb monster. I'm aware vit D affects mood, although the B-12 complex is imperative as well for keeping up energy. Don't know your method of B-12 intake, though I've always used the sublingual liquid, once per morning, and very occasionally have added one dose with evening meal and meds. Please do not get down on yourself Marsha; this is where we pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, and proceed forward. I'd also suggest contacting your WLS nurse/dietician for their input. Lots of ideas here, so hopefully you'll get the directive you need to feel better all around. I agree with the suggested psychological help: have been seeing my psychologist over three years as needed, and am grateful WLS is her specialty--have received excellent guidance for self-knowledge as well as an abundance of WLS-related issues. Priceless! Love 'ya to pieces, and hope and pray you get resolution to this very very soon sweetie! Hugs galore, Patti
Never let your memories be greater than your dreams.
