New to exercise and felt faint/dizzy? Help!

So I FINALLY started working out last night (gawd willing I can keep it up). I started the "Couch Potato to 5k" program. which basically starts me off warming up walking for 5min., then walk 90 sec's, jog 60 sec's for about 20min., then 5min. cool down walk. I also did 10 rep sets of crunches and 10 rep sets of push-ups. I felt GREAT when it was all over but then all night just kinda felt "empty" or faint. Just kinda like I was floating outside of my body or something.

Any suggestions, tips, or words of wisdom from those of you routinely exercising or just starting as well?

Be sure you are drinking water immediately after exercising. That is very important for many reasons.

I think it is great that you are starting this  exercise program.

Ummmm..Slow down? Maybe you did a little to much to fast? Just a thought seeing as our temps have been 84 for the highs and humidity was up too.
