OT: Rough Day

Yesterday was a tough day for me. I found my Paco, a ****ateil, at the bottom of his cage. My eldest, Lydia, was as devasted as me. We had a little funeral, and I felt that was not enough as he was SUCH AN AWESOME bird. He would wistle(like "good looking" and talked and danced and much more). I know this is a part of the circle of life but man is it hard. Both my daughter and I cried and cried. It was hard to comfort her as I needed comfort too. I missed him telling me this morning that I "looked good".
