Monday Coffee Talk
That is our challenge today. To be positive. There is TOO MUCH negativity in our world today. If we could share some positive things and be a positive person everyday, not just today, but everyday, what a wonderful world we could have. Negative people are shunned. Negative people bring you down. Have you ever felt good, then got around someone who just constantly complained? When you left them, you felt worse than they did. You were negative after being around them? Well, you share positiveness today. You be positive and rub off on someone today. I know we can do this one. Don't grumble and complain today. Be positive. Even if you have so much negative going on in your own life, if you will think positive and speak positive, you can turn those negative situations around. There is life and death in the power of your words!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm loving me some Maxwell House regular blend. It'****ting the spot this morning too. Sure is good!
Ya'll go out and have a WONDERFUL and POSITIVE Monday! Be blessed!

I'm not drinking anything yet today, but soon I will hit the water and Crystal Light. Each day I adjust more to my pouch and am able to take in more water (or the same amount of water more easily). Still, as a new post-op, there's not much room in my pouch yet to drink anything other than water.
Have a beautiful day everyone!
So instead of cleaning it up right away, I'm giving the dogs extra time outdoors to play and sipping a nice cup of Maxwell house Columbia with SF french vanilla creamer :)
*hugs!*
Today's thought from Hazelden is:
Limited expectations yield only limited results.
- Susan Laurson Willig
Our thoughts determine our actions, and when our thoughts are negative, our successes are few. What we hold in our mind is certain to be reflected in the day's activities. And we are capable of fueling our thoughts positively, if we choose to.
Positive self-assessment and uplifting pep talks can become habitual if our desire to live up to our potential is great enough. The expectations we privately harbor, be they small or far-reaching, will set the pace for the progress we make today, and every day.
We can greet a challenge with eager anticipation when we've grown accustomed to believing in our capability for success. First, we must expect to handle, with poise, whatever confronts us.
No one but me determines my course today. My success begins in my mind.
