OMG--I weighed this morning and the scale said 239!  I haven't been this small since high school.  All my clothes are fitting better and better and soon will be too big!  Wow!  I can't believe that I am down almost 60 lbs in 7 months.  I had my first consult mid Dec of last year and I weighed in at 295 lbs .  Day of surgery I was 281.  So since surgery I have lost 42 lbs. (in 10 1/2 weeks).  I have been feeling much better this week.  I haven't thrown up since last Sunday.  I am starting to add a few solids now, per my clinic.  I am going really slow though, as I am scared of things getting stuck again.  I am just happy that I am able to take my pills again without them getting stuck.

WHOOOO HOOOO -- good for you......YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB !!!  60 pounds is FANTASTIC!!!!

If you want a bigger high feeling on how fantastic that is.......Go pick up 60 pounds of softener salt next time you are at the grocery store and carry them with you while you shop -- don't put them down even once the entire shopping trip.  Of course you'll have to go with someone so they can push and fill your cart.  But you will get yet another appreciation aspect of how truly fantastic the weight loss is by the end of the trip!!!  THAT IS A HUGE WOW!!!!!

There should be a fall Swapkins coming up in for you to pick up some smaller sizes to get you through the winter coming up.

Continued success to you.....

Congrats!  What an awesome feeling!  You are doing awesome and I am so happy to hear that you are able to keep stuff down now.  I do not blame you for taking the solids slow, there are certain foods I still avoid because I am afraid of it getting stuck.  Keep up the great work and you will be in Onderland before you know it.

Congratuations!  Isn't it fantastic to be at a milestone weight that you barely remember?  For me, it's 300 pounds.  When I was 19 I needed to have an MRI and the weight limit on the machine was 300.  I weighed 302 at the time.  That's the only childhood/teenage weight that I remember (I tried not to think about those things at the time).  I can't wait until I get to that point (I have about 110 pounds to go before that yet though so it will be a while).

Keep up the great work!  This surgery has amazingly quick results.
