OT:Anyone up for playing hooky at ValleyFair?

Here is what I'm thinking...on FRIDAY July 25th....

We can carpool from the southwest station in Eden Prairie so that we can limit the parking costs at VF.  Meet at 9...at the Caribou right there.  Head over to VF and have some fun for a few hours, then leave around 3 or 4, head back to SW station.  From there you can either head home and pretend you were at work all day, OR prolong your day and join me for the concert I've been trying to get you to come to, which will be right there.  We could have some dinner at Ruby Tuesdays or Culvers or about 15 other options, or wait and hit Old Chicago (my new found tradition) after the concert.

I think it would be a blast and no one would even have to know
Just one ride buddy and I'll be there....who wants in?

Talk with Patti Truax.   We went out last night and she mentioned something about going to Valleyfair.  She thought it would be a fun getaway.

I would be in, but I've got a calendar packed full of events through mid August.

LOL I tease students about playin hooky when they are gone for a day. The idea sounds wonderful and I would gladly be someone's "virtual VF buddy" LOL. I am behaving by Doc's orders any not going places of that caliber at this point in time.  Sounds fun none the less

Well, well, well....I only work every other weekend, although next Friday (25th) I have a committment I can no way change.  Darla had mentioned VF awhile back, and I believe it would be a weekend so more can easily come (unsure!).  Me personally, want to be there when the park opens, and stay until closing.  Hmmmmmmf?!  Wait a sec, haven't been there for ten years, and unsure how all the walking/standing in line will go with the MS.  Will have to find a little stool to hang from my back to sit as needed.....am resourceful and will figure something out.  Best of luck proceeding with your plan;  hopefully there will be some die-hard VF goers!  Patti
