Friday Coffee Talk
Good Friday morning everybody! Ya wanna do the Friday 
with me? The weekend is only a few hours away! Got big plans? We are going to a Youth service tonight and our Drama Team is performing. Tomorrow, we are taking them to the movies at the mall and to pizza. School starts in 3 weeks so I wanted to do something special for them CLOSE TO HOME! LOL Hope to take one more trip with them before school starts.
Our challenge today is to spend some time with family. Family is important. It's also important that we spend time with them. Quality time. Too often, we are so busy that family is pushed back. When that happens, feelings are hurt, questions arise as too whats important, and sometimes things even get worse. Let us let our families know WHO and WHAT is important in our lives. My 2 teens and Lucy are the most important thing in my life other than my relationship with God. I want them all 3 to know what they mean to me. Lets let our families know we love them today and that they are important. If you are single, let someone in your family know they are important today! We can do this one EASILY!!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm loving some AWESOME Boca Java Vacation Villa Vanilla coffee. Speaking of Vacation, the countdown is on till we drive up to Minnesota! Only 8 more days and we are off. This Monday though, we are driving up north of the state for an overnight trip. Gotta spend some away time! WE CAN'T WAIT!!

Randall~I agree that family is so very important! I spent 7 years with little to no contact with my family and I missed so much. Luckily in the last 2 years we have been able to "catch up" and I never go more than a couple of weeks without seeing my parents or sisters (my brother lives in Idaho now so a little hard to see him too often). I am actually going up to my parent's place this weekend to spend sometime with them and my grandma. I am sippin' on my usual Crystal Light Focus-Natural Citrus. Have fun this weekend and tell the kids to "Break a Leg!"

A) because we're leaving on vacation tomorrow, for a week of fun and family time! It can actually be a little stressful, when you have 4 people who each have their own ideas of what they'd like to do at any particular time. But hopefully we'll be able to compromise so that we all get to do what we want during the week!
And B) I know that my WLS "family" has become such a huge part of my life over the past year and a half, that sometimes my "real" family feels a bit of frustration... perhaps jealousy?... over the time I give to support groups, coffee get-togethers and all the other fun activities I'm involved in. So this coming week, there will be no Darla on OH, no Darla at coffees or any of that - just MOM, on the waterslides, focusing on my FAMILY!
(But seriously, if that MOA coffee happens when I get back home, if I'm not at work? I AM SO THERE!)
