did you get one of those cute Fortwo Smart cars?? I want one sooo bad but I would have to have big daddy's limbs removed in order for him to continue to carpool with me! He's 6ft4in but he did say that he thinks he is shrinking??? I want the cabriolet, that way he can stick his head out the top. I saw one that was pale light greenish yellow with black, it was gorgeous! I gotta have one of them there cars!!!

They have an "orphan list" going - to find owners for cars that come in for someone on the wait list who decides against buying it... So he said it COULD be I'd have one in less than a year, if I'm not picky about the color. I want the smartfortwo passion, the middle model with all the bells & whistles, but no convertible top. And I told him I'd prefer blue, but I'd take anything other than white. I have a bad history with white vehicles...
There is only one dealer in the state right now, just SW of 494 & 35W in Bloomington. And if you ARE interested, I'd suggest you take big daddy down there for a test drive! You would be AMAZED at how much room there is in those things! I'm 5'11", and had PLENTY of room! Seriously - and the passenger seat is offset a few inches behind the driver's seat to allow for more shoulder room, not that it's necessary. The only time you even realize you're driving half a car is when you look back over your shoulder and BAM! There's the back window!!!
