7/17 Today I will...

Good Morning!  Okay, so today is going to be a very busy day for me at work so I am going to post this and then put my nose to the grindstone.  Today I will....drink 100-120 ounces of luid, exercise (pilates), stick to food plan, finish up inspiration box for grandma, laundry and pack for the weekend, and get to bed before midnight.  Yesterday I....get in 110-120 ounce of water/CL--Only got in around 100 ounces due to some unecessary snacking, go to doctor for ankle/foot--yup-gotta stay off it for another couple of weeks but still hoping to do the 5K next weekend, stick to food plan and be mindful of carbs--did good with the carbs not so good with sticking to the meal plan I have got to stop the nighttime snacking, hopefully go for a walk/run--nope per dr's orders none of that for a while, and get to bed at a decent time--finally did this got to bed around 11:40 pm, the earliest in a long time.

This afternoon I go in for my 9 month check up and full labs.  The way I feel right now they will be lucky to draw blood without gashing me.  Stupid to let myself get this bad.  Roger came over this morning to help with the dogs.  I"m not sleeping at night - getting an hour at most - so just plain screwed up right now.  Might take the night off work and try to catch up.  I can't keep going like this.  Other than that life is grand  lol

Nicole, please be careful of that ankle!!  I would hate to see you really screw something up!  As for your snacking, could you make yourself a protein malted for a snack?  Save it as something special?  I love mine  :)  I take one of those smaller EAS chocolate shakes, some ice and a scoop of Cookies & Cream protein powder and blend it up  :)  It's actually a real treat!!

     - my steps were way down as I didn't get my walk in and it was COLD when I went out on break to walk so I chickened out and went back inside and paced while on break.

Lori~I will be careful with the ankle I am staying off it as much as possible until next week and hopefully by then it will be okay.  The good thing is the doc says I can't do any more damage to it if I do run on it.  I am thinking by the end of next week it should be healed up, in the mean time I will be biking a lot.  With regard to the protien drink I have yet to find one I can stand the taste/smell of.  I have tried a couple pre and post op and can't find one that doesn't absolutely make me gag.  The snacks I have been having are healthy protien filled snacks I am just eating too much of them sort of grazing all night.  I need to stop it and I know it, I just need to find stuff to keep me busy at night so I am less tempted to snack.  I am also going to try really upping my water/CL intake at night again when I have done this in the past it has worked.  I hope you are able to get some sleep and HYDRATE yourself before you end up in the ER getting fluids via an IV!  Remember to take care of you!  Love & hugs!  Nicole
