2 month surgiversary today!!

Wow...how quickly the time flies!! Well, here are my thoughts 2 months out...

I am down 43lbs and feel fantastic and can't wait to feel even better!!

I am still trying to learn what a real portion is. My eyes always see such a little meal, but my stomach feels full. My eyes are slowly adjusting. I would have NEVER been able to eat a cup of food and be OK with it 2 months ago.

I am also adjusting to the strong feeling of HOPE. It's something that I lost a while ago in terms of my weight.

Most of all, I am enjoying all the luxuries of 43lbs gone: less back pain, more mobility, decreased PCOS, and increased happiness.

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Congratulations!  I got a little tear in my eye when you talked about HOPE.    I had forgotten this tool brings the hope to reality.  I'd lost that feeling a few months ago but am finally getting it back.  You are doing fantasic!

Thanks! Some of the bandsters on OH name their bands...lol.. so maybe I should name it Hope... hehe. I lost hope before surgery.... 100 percent. I gave up and binged and said I'd rather be dead than try again. It was horrible but now... my hope is back and I could not be more thankful!
