Good Morning Everyone: I'm having some severe bladder issues and my OBGYN has given me the names of two doctors.  The first is a Dr. Albert Enriquez who is at Park Nicollet and does his surgeries out of Methodist..  The other is Dr. Steven Stegel whose office is in Woodbury and believe he does his surgeries out of St. Joe's or United or someplace in St.Paul. Have any of you gone to them or know someone who has a history with them. It's a long, long story; but when I decide what can be done and what I will do, I'll let you all know the story.  Meanwhile, any information or comments you may have re these two doctors will be greatly appreciated. Thank's and TGIF Everyone.................... Hugs sprinkled with lots of love, Granny Eileen

Ms Eileen ~ I wish I had the answers for you as I dont want to see you hurt!  Healing hugs to you and wishing you all the best in finding the information you need.  Does St Paul Surgeons have any referals in this area? Hugs...

Thank's Dana for the healig hugs.  I'll take all the hugs that I can get.  I will be fine once I  (we) have a game plan in place.  But I am caught in a Catch 22 right now.  But I know God has a plan for me and I just have to be a little patient. Dr. Rupp is out for the month of Feb. and the nurse I spoke with was not real helpful.  I miss Anitra as she always had an answer for me.  I am expecting a call back when Dr. Rupp is back in the office.  Meanwhile I'll just hang in there.  I'm a "tough" ole broad!!!                                                                                                                            Thank's for caring, Dana.  You are so very "special". Hugs, Granny Eileen

I don't know the doctors, but my Mom had an insident where her bladder was actually umm...i guess to say ...falling out. iguess it happens to some woman because of those darn children we love so much. She had a surgery and if worked out wonderfully for her. Prior to that she had alot of bladder infections.

Hi Granny!!! Like Lotsaleg, I have a 40-something yr. old GF who's bladder was falling out, too, and she had the surgery to correct this and is living a great life now. It was about a 3 month recovery for her, but she says to this day, so worth it. Not sure that is your issue exactly, but just thought I'd share in case it is similar. Don't know the docs, but I hope you meet with both and I believe you will then find your answer! Love you and many hugs coming your way Granny!!!

I have no particular knowledge of either of these doctors, but want to send you my hugs and best wishes, too.   I had some "leakage" issues prior to my hystericalectomy - my doc thought he might have to "tack" my bladder back up into place as well, but it turned out that my uterus was so enlarged with fibroid tumors, it was just putting too much pressure on the poor bladder.  Yanked that sucker out, and I've been good ever since!  I hope your issues are resolved as simply as possible!!!

Good Morning, Granny - I have been to see Dr. Stillwell in Robbinsdale. He is a Urologist.  I have a very severe prolapse since surgery, and he referred me to a Dr. Schwartz at West Health for surgery. Those are the only ones I have had contact with.  Sorry I can't help you further. Hugs, Laura

I've seen Dr. Enriquez at Park Nicollet.  He's a really soft spoken, nice guy.  He was gentle, as I would require of anyone working with such sensitive issues and areas.  I didn't have to work with him any more than regular check ups though, so I've never had any procedures other than yearly things.
