protein bars what do you think?

Hi Kelly~ If you're at a stall, try upping your water intake and make sure you get your protein in.  Instead of protein bars,  how about cottage cheese, or cheese sticks? I love Oberto  beef jerky--not too spicy, and it's rich in protein.   Eggs are a  great source of protein, but the only place I really like them is at a cafe where the cook does a good job of 'easy over'.   I can only eat little amounts of dense protein without feeling too full or even sick. I think that for a long time I wasn't getting in enough protein. I say that because  my fingernails are really soft and ridged.  In the last few months I have been making a smoothie of a vegan protein powder, diet cranberry juice and frozen fruit. I had tried the whey and soya protein powders and found them to be GROSS.   The stuff I use is from GNC and called 'Whole Food Smoothie Infusion.'   2 level scoops of this  stuff has 14 g protein--so I throw 4 scoops into the blender.  It's the only protein powder I can stomach!  And I get in 2--3 servings of fruit. Everybody has a different story, so you'll have to ask around and then try things out until you find something that works for you. Keep in mind that when the lbs stop, it might be that you're losing inches! Good luck and God bless~ ((HUG)) **SUE**
