One more appt!!!

I am so excited. I have one more appt. with the dietician and I will also be meeting with my nurse for my teaching appt. I am just so excited. Things are falling into place so fast. I at least know now that I will be getting the surgery after the wedding which is a relief to know. Everything is going so good, I can't help but wait for the other shoe to fall. Please remember to send prayers up for my sister on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 6. She will be having surgery early that morning. Then she will be joining all of you. I am so excited for her. I will let you know how everything goes for her. Mathea

Hello all! I am waiting for insurance approval for my RNY to be done at Park Nicollet. I meet next week with the dietician, medical doctor, and physical therapist. After that, I should be close to getting my surgery date. I noticed most of you here have used the surgeons that I am able to choose from. I was just wondering if you could tell me how close I am to getting my surgery date? When my insurance gives approval do they call me and schedule a surgery date or do I need to meet with the doctor where he will give me the date? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
