Motrin after surgery....Debbie needs your help! :O( Please respond quickly...she is in...

Oh my heart aches for her. Can she take a double dose of Tylenol? (Liquid I hope) She won't be able to bear sit on the plane in that much pain, plus it's not good cuz she'll be super tense the whole time which will prevent her from moving much which isn't good right after surgery because of blood clots. Don't mean to scare you but she needs to find something before she gets on that plane. Also, tell her to move around as much as she can before boarding the plane. See if she can get a rush pain killer prescription filled at a pharmacy within 30 minutes of airport - she can take a taxi ride to run and get it. So sorry she's dealing with this - the doctor should not have let her leave with out a pain killer prescription. Major bummer - keep us updated. Send her our love!

Lisa, until she can get a script tell her to take 2 extra strength Tylenol. Thats all I took after had my band. If she can't get a script maybe have her stop at a local E.R?

I think if she had the lapband she can have motrin, but shame on the dr for not sending her home with anything

Is she going back there for followup and fills? I would make sure she has some strong OTC pain meds for next time. best wishes! and congratulations to Debbie !!

Dear heavens! I hope she gets pain relief soon. I feel so bad for her. She does need to stay away from IBU/Motrin. It can thin the blood. And with having surgery (even lap band) she is still at risk for bleeding. Wish her well for me. Hugs, Lori

Hey, Lisa sorry about sis, No on the motrin and posiible get her some roxicet asap. If i was closer I would run my half bottle over too her right now. I hope she gets the help she needs!!!!! Hugs Troy
