As I was reading this, the first thing that came to mind was...you poor thing! Second, I thought this sounded like a stricture. I hope you can get a hold of the that doc of yours and get it figured out soon. You don't deserve to feel so crummy all the time!

Please stay on top of this & KEEP CALLING!!! Does your surgeon have an emergency number? Man, this sucks & I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I'm am so sorry that you are having a rough time. I agree with everyone and say call until you get answers. You shouldn't be like this. Feel free to vent anytime that's what we are here for.

I am so sorry that you are having all of these troubles. Ditto to what everyone else is saying about keeping on your Dr. I really hope that this all gets better soon!!

I have to say, it almost sounds like you have a bowel obstruction. I hope they can get you to that Upper GI ASAP. Continue to call. I'd call every hour if I were you. They shouldn't be taking this long to get back to you. That's not acceptable. Good luck. I will keep you in my prayers. And if you need anything let me know!

Thank you all so much for your words, prayers and support. I'm happy to report that I finally got the call (after calling the nurse a few times) to schedule my upper GI test. I will be having this test done at 11am. I am so hoping that this will give me some answers. If not then I will be making sure we have some plan of attack to get this under control. I am also going to contact my PCP to keep him in the loop. I know that he will be able to help. He is just an amazing doctor/person. I am hoping that by the end of tomorrow I will have answers and be on the road to recovery! Again thank you all. I really apprecaite all of you!

Angela, I am so glad that you vented. You are ALWAYS on these boards with encouragment and caring for others. It is good now when we can support YOU. You poor thing! What a relief to know you have an appointment tomorrow. Phew! I will be waiting on pins and needles to hear what you find out. Hopefully it is a simple fix or that they have something to tied you over until your pouchy gets comfortable. Lisa Joy
