BCBS of Michigan approves VSG !!!

Just read a post from Dr. Pleatman in Bloomfield Hills that BCBS of Michigan will begin approving VSG for pts with a BMI of 35 or greater and co-morbidities beginning November 1, 2010! Great news for us Michigan BCBS patients.

I wonder if that includes BCN? I had been thinking about VSG but my BMI is only 44 and currently with BCN your BMI has to be 50 for VSG
