Rainy Days and Mondays Coffee

Good Rainy morning everyone!
Heard the pitter-patter of rain most of the night. Really is needed in this part of the state. Supposed to rain most of the day... Dogs just came in with muddy paws :-(.
What's waking you up in your mug this morning? Decaf and black for me.
QOTD-How was your weekend? Went to Farmer's Market Saturday and got fresh potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, summer squash, and sweet onions. The flowers I got there have already died :-(.
Pretty quiet weekend, overall. Did some miles on the bike yesterday (hot! hot! hot!) and went further than I originally planned. Don't weekends go way too fast?
Have a good Monday!

Good Morning Deb and everyone!  I am having one mother of  a Monday....woke up at 4am with Nick, found the hamster died overnight, the kitchen sink overflowed and is now leaking all over the floor.  I am cleaning up and getting ready for work.  DH has poor little hammy ready to be buried in the garden.  RIP Hammy von Hamsterling.

QOTD-My weekend was pretty good.  I had my dad and stepmom over for dinner yesterday.  Other than that, I just did stuff around the house.  Tonight I'm going out to dinner with my brother, so that's something to look forward to.  I haven'****ched the weather...it's pretty dark here but doesn't feel like rain.

Hope you all have a good day (and I'm sure mine can only get better!)

Poor Nick-hope he isn't too broken up about Hammy.  Waiting for the rain here, my flowers need water desperately and I have been neglectful

The weekend was very quiet, getting ready to go to Birmingham Alabama next weekend with the new boyfriend to meet his family at a wedding, so had a low key weekend to avoid spending money.

Morning all,

Ready for a Monday workday full of budget revisions.  My coffee is done, working on some purple smash and then some carb master yogart with my morning vits and meds.

Weekend was quiet on my end for the most part.  My hubby's family is in turmoil, but I have vowed to stay out of it.  Besides that, it just went way too quickly.

Getting ready for my son's 6th birthday in 2 weeks.  Trying to figure out if I want a large party with all the family, or just a grandparents and a few of his friends.  He want's Chuckie Cheese, but my hubby is set against it.

Off to crunch some numbers

Pam

Aww Brenda...sorry to hear about the hamster...and your siink....I hope things get better for you as the day goes on!!

I had my protein shake this morning and eating Carbmaster yogurt right now.  I am 3.5 lbs away from hitting Wonderland and hittling the 100 lbs lost mark.....I want it to happen this week!!  I haven't lost in about a week and  a half...so I'm due for the scale to start mvoing again.  My body loses weird, In any given month, I lose for two weeks, then stall for two weeks, lose for two, stall for two.  So I've been averaging 10-12 lbs a month, but the majority of that loss is within a two week period....strange.

QOTD:  Had a nice quiet weekend.  I laid out in th sun for a little bit yesterday just to get some color.  It felt good for a while, but was too dang hot!  Got caught up on laundry and housework and watched the Tigers and golf on TV.

Have a great day everyone!

Hello all!

So let's all do the rain dance this week.  Hopefully the heavens get all this rain out of its system all week long so that Saturday it will be clear and mild.  I really don't want to walk the 10 mile Crim in the rain.

QOTD -- My weekend was very good.  Hit the beach on Saturday and stayed much longer than planned -- watched the sunset in Caseville.  Skipped the housewarming party Saturday night since the beach was too nice to leave.  Sunday I did the 5 mile Blueberry Festival race in Montrose.  Met Helen - the winner from The Biggest Loser - and had a nice conversation with her after the race.  We compared notes on the BodyBugg/GoWearFit --- their daily calorie burn goal was 5000-6000 calories burned per day and only ate 1200 calories in food.  Craziness!

So back to the work grind this morning.  It's always better to start the workweek after a long relaxing weekend.

Good morning!  Nothing is in my cup yet because I have to have some fasting bloodwork done....running a little late, though.  Dub and I (and AJ) slept til 10.  Aug. 11 was my 4 year "surgiversary" so that's the bloodwork I am getting done.  Then after that I have to run to work and turn in my computer.  Goodbye MACBOOK!!  I will miss you!  I will be laptopless....until my NEW PINK HP gets here.  I really wish I could get another mac...but they are too much and I really don't NEED a new computer, but want a laptop.  When my desktop dies, I will get a Mac...I really will miss my mac.

AJ is off work this week for shutdown.  So I think we're heading to Hilsdale for the week, or most of it, anyway.

QOTD:We had a great weekend with family here on Friday and Sunday.  We "skyped" with my niece in Poland, yesterday, while the family was here.  She got to meet Dub for the first time...via the computer!  That was cool.  We had a lot of fun with my family yesterday hanging in the pool.

Well, I'm off...signing off my Mac...for the last time.  Sigh...

Good morning everyone.  No rain here.  Where was everyone yesterday?  No Sunday morning post.  I kept checking, but just didn't feel like starting one.  Lazy day yesterday.  Got a few boxes up from the basement, but then did nothing for the rest of the day.  Took two dogs for a walk this morning.  They're both zonked out right now and the other one is looking at me as if to say "When's it my turn?"  He pulls too much, so he'll just have to wait a couple of weeks until I'm up to walking all three at a time.
Waiting to hear from our realtor this morning.  I hate that we've got to go back into negotiations on this house.  We've got to sell now, since almost everything is moved!  We may just have to split the difference.  We'll get it done anyway.  I've lost a total of 14.5 inches in one month.  I was really surprised, but happy.
Protein shake, carbmaster yogurt and then on to grape koolaid.

Am doing pretty damn good here for a Monday. Even had a cup of coffee. Used to be a pot or more per day, but now one cup does it. Took some new pictures this morning and will post them soon. Nice changes happening. Makes me smile to see how much my face has thinned! Have my two week appointment tomorrow and will have staples/stitches removed as well as get the low-down on the mushies. Yesterday I had a bit of egg. Four bites. One bite too many! Felt like there was concrete in my upper chest. It passed, but what a sickening feeling! Luckily slow and easy it goes!

Hope this day finds all well! Sorry about the hamster. Off he goes to the big spinning wheel in the sky.
