I feel like it's slipping out of my reach....
Since this is a surgical procedure you have to schedule it like you would a vacation? It seems like surgery shouldn't have to be scheduled like that. I know it is elective but the dates depends on alot of different factors. Your hospital should realize this.
Do you have to take vacaton time or can you use sick time? Or is it all the same like mine. Mine is called PTO and I can use it for whatever I need to use it for. But I do not have to put in a request for time off for surgery like I do a vacation.

I emailed my insurance company and told them that I needed quick approval as I was trying to have the surgery before school started so I wouldnt miss any work. First I told them how much I appreciated ahving insurance with them and that although I oculd pay less for the coverage they were the best. I brown nosed. Then I asked them to pu**** through. 24 hours later there was a yes.
Never accept no for an answer always push for a yes and bown nose that staff at the surgeons. Bake them some chocolate chip cookies and let them know you appreciate all they are doing and if theres any way to get this done on the week you have odd you would be so appreciative. It might just work;
Good Luck

Don't give up hope for surgery in April. Who's your insurance carrier? I have BCBS of MICH PPO and my surgery was approve in less that 2 days (once they got the packet from the surgeon office). Once I was approved it happen very quickly. It will happen for you, your just tired of waiting- believe me I understand. Good luck Lori
