hMMM lets see.  agonizing pain in the flank of your back.  kinda like being stabbed slowly and the knife being twisted around and around... you think you are dying. omg, one was enough.  drink lots of water.  never get dehydrated.  OR ELSE.

Well I would tell you something like major labor pains, but I don't think you would know what that felt like.   One other symptom is felling like you have to go all the time and not being able to go.   I thought I was having a back spasm when I had mine and took a hot bath - BIG MISTAKE.  That really took the wind out of my sail. Pam p.s.  Morning coffee is done, onto decaf ice tea, and then my rasberry lemonade crystal lite.

I've got my Fruit2o this morning - bought it from my favorite coffee spot.  Since I've given up coffee, this is what I'm stuck with.  :-) As for the kidney stones.  Not sure what they feel like, but my understanding is that they are often caused by taking calcium carbonate since it's more difficult for your body to digest and you end up with calcium deposits stuck in your kidneys.  If you're taking carbonate ... Switch to calcium citrate, it's easier on your kidneys. You're lap-band, right Randy?  So carbonate is alright for you since you've still got stomach acid (although it's still hard for your body to deal with).  But anyone with RNY MUST be taking citrate, no question. Hope you feel better. Pam
