I got some SHOCKING NEWS last night

We were eating dinner, and my husband told me he is thinking about getting a lap band.    He sees the changes in me wants us to both be healthy for our 4 year old.  Tears flowed.   I also had a scale victory.  We wanted to calculate his BMI, and so he went and weighted himself.  OH MY, I finally weigh less than my hubby.  We have been together 9 years.  We have certainly "grown together"  Life is good today.

That is great news!! Congrats on your victory too!!

Pam what wonderful news.  I know you can help him through journey as you have helped us here on OH.  You are an inspiration to us all.

That's awesome!! One of my goals is to weigh less than my brother. I was probably 8 years old the last time I weighed less! And congrats to hubby for thinking of surgery and checking it out!! : )

Congrats... You should talk to Jenn F. They both had surgery and they have both done wonderful. Suzanne

Pam, My husband had RNY surgery two months after I did.  It is soooo much easier having both of us on the same page as far as our "diet".  We try to keep each other in check.  Your 4 year old will thank you both when you are still around to see their children. Congratulations to you on your NSV!  You must feel great! Jenn
