Frustrating / Waiting game

So, I have all the paperwork in, the psyc evaluation done, and the response I get is:  "If you don't hear back from us within 6 weeks, give us a call."  UUURRGGGHHH! I know its a short time considering all I've went through but being in "limbo" is frustrating.  You feel like your just "hanging out there" with no clear direction........

I had Dr. Schram too and I did not wait anywhere near six weeks.  Thats ridiculous and I would also call on a regular basis. Good Luck!

I agree w/ PP.  Keep on them.  I have a different dr, but I had to do that to get my dietician and sleep study scheduled.  It still is hurry up and wait, but at least things are getting done. Good Luck!

I wouldn' t wait either.    Next week start calling and be persistant about it, but nice.   In the meantime start getting healthy and keep reading profiles.   Get  out and walk and learn how to sip sip sip.       Linda

If you already have the insurance approval, let them know that you can go anywhere with that, maye that will get them moving.  My sister did  that and she had a date that same week she told them she would go else where.   I just called on mine today and I will call everyday till they can let me know.  I also have another bariatric place going thru for differnt reasons I wont get into but I figure whoe ever gets to me first gets the business.  I started this process just over a year ago and I am with you, the waiting game is frustrating.   Keep calling, good Luck, Patti

I didn't call the doctors office to see if my insurance approved me. I called the insurance company every couple of days.  I did not feel like I should bother the doctor.  I know that's silly, but out of respect, ya know. Good Luck.
