Has anbody heard from Stacy?? I know she was having some work issues and was just wondering if she was ok. Pam
Hi Pam,
Its me. I'm dealing with a real bad case of bronchitis which caused me to have a double asthma attack, one which I have not had since WLS. I was taken to the ER via ambulance on Wednesday and was there about 4-5 hours. My white blood count was low, but they didn't do much for me except breathing treatments and monitored my bp. (which, with albuterol from the breathing treatments, rises very high) Remembering what hospital this is, I knew I'd be sent home. The doctor never introduced himself, the nurses were mean and rude, and other than feeling awful that I even went, was like a crime.
Work issues have been resolved. I cannot express details here but the situation has been taken care of.
Thank you for asking and inquiring about me. Other than a bad cold and bronchitis, I just need lots of rest. Too bad I couldn't call in sick today. This is So typical.
Thanks
Stacey W

Yea Stacy I KNOW too well what you are saying about the hospital. the last 2 times I was there I got lucky and got all very nice ppl.
I am so glad the work issues are worked out.. you DON"T need the stress.
hope you get back to normal sood!!
Pam
Rare opportunity arose and I had to ride in Ambulance- had I not had the problems I had, I would have stayed home and suffered.
It has been over 1.5 years since I was in that ER. And the reasons stated above are just the surface.
Sad that the hospital has to service a community filled with professors and students and employees yet they have personalities of pigs. And that's how I feel.
Thanks for the note! I hope to be better very soon!
Stacey
