i've been going to school mostly.  The Cisco classes are keeping me sooo busy.  The others are easy but the Cisco ones are taxing my limited remaining brain cells.  Lots of concerts lately too.  Last week we saw The Beat and the NY Dolls and this weekend we're going to Columbus to see The Hives again.  I'm stoked.  They're my favorite band to see live these days. (can't get Mel to go see Santana with me and Zappa's dead.  sigh) How've ya been?

I just went to On the Border last night!  Yum...I even stole a little of a strawberry margarita.   I think your body gets used to certain things.  Before surgery, I CRAVED fast food...like a crazy person!  Since I stopped eating that kind of stuff, no more cravings for it.  I did start off with beans, cheese and salsa right after surgery, so I thought that's why I want to eat it all the time.  You may be on to something with the flavor factor....you get a lot without sauces and sugar.

I'm pre-op and mexican food is seriously my favorite type of  food on earth. I'm glad that I will still be able to partake in some good mexican eatin' in the future.   (In moderation, of course.  )

Hi Randy! Nice to meet you !  I have always liked Mexican food, but I do have more of a craving for it now since banding.. I kind of figured maybe it was the spice or the heat?  Thai food is great too.. it's a whole different heat.

Tequilla is one of my favorites. I had a neighbor who lived across the street from me. He is married to lovely Mexican gal. I liked her and the kids more than him. kp

I never crave mexican, before or after surgery.  Authentic mexican food makes me very ill...always has.  Now I can make "tacos" at home and I'm ok, but anytime I've ever eaten in a "real" mexican restaurant, like Xochimilco in Mexican Town in Detroit, I get very ill...so I avoid it like the plague.  Or else I feel like I have the plague.
