Tracy's update

I have not been feeling well since surgery on Monday. I have felt to bad to be online. I had my first follow up with Dr. Gluck today and I feel 100 million times better already. I do not know what it was about that drain tube but it made me feel horrible. As soon as the nurse took it out RELIEF!!!! I cannot believe how much better I felt instantly! I was feeling pretty depressed because I thought I would feel so much better by now!! Now I could do the happy dance!!!!! My insurance would not pay for home healthcare to come out on Saturday to take the drain tube out so I had to wait!!! If I knew how much better I would feel I would have paid for it myself!!! Anyone about to have WLS should think about this before hand. I just cannot get over the difference. Also, I was afraid of having the tube taken out....someone told me it would be painful. It was not...it felt weird but no pain!!
Just thought I would update!!
Tracy P.S. I love Dr.Gluck Did I mention he called to check on me?? On Saturday!! I even have his home and cell number!! No doctor has ever done any of that before!!!

Hi Tracy......It is so nice to hear from you. I have been thinking of you often and wondering how you are doing.  I know what your saying about the drain. I was lucky to have home health care come and take mine out and when they did I felt like a new woman. Well your on your way to better health so I will keep you in my thoughts. Since Dr. Gluck is my Dr. also....I will also say he is the best around. He really takes good care of us. Hugs for a fast recovery, Colleen

Hi Colleen, Thanks for the comment! I am feeling good now! I do not know what it was about that tube but it really was killing me!! I felt like I could do cartwheels after that the tube was out!
