OT: Rothbury Music Festival-Anyone Ever Been?

Good Morning All, I am wondering if anyone have ever attended this festival.  Its near Muskegan??? And also if it is 'family-oriented.  Dont want the kids getting a 'contact buzz' if ya know what I mean. Hi Belinda! This is the first year of the Rothbury Music Festival. It's a brand new thing. I am also a big fan of DMB, and I'd like to see a couple of other acts too (Colbie Caillat, John Mayer) but I can't justify the $244 ticket price per person (We're talking nearly $1000 for a family of four) and quite honestly, I can't see my kids sitting through days of performances anyway. I have a feeling that this is not going to wind up being very "family friendly", but maybe I'm wrong.  I think my family will stick to the Muskegon Summer Celebration and hope that there are some good acts this year... and more affordable!

Robin, It does sound like a hippie event, doesnt it???  I am sooo there.  I cant wait to paint flowers on my face and braid my hair mannn.  But the bands that are coming dont seem to be that 'out there'.  I only wish I wouldve caught DMB in detroit now. belinda
