Dr. DiNick Followup & Accident Update

Yesterday I went to see Dr. DiNick.  He checked over the seatbelt area near my incision area (one of my ribs are bothering me from where the seatbelt runs across).  He said that it all looks and feels fine.  I did get one of my drains taken out (the one that bothered me the most thank goodness) but he said to play it safe, he wants to keep the other drain in until next week.  Even though the output is minimal and the color is back to what it was prior to the accident.  I am fine with that...better to be safe than sorry.  And atleast the drain that he took out was the one that was bothering me the most.  Other than hanving this 'thing' hanging out of the top of my pants, I dont even really know the other drain is there as it doesn't burn, pinch or anything.   Now all I am hoping for is for the insurance company to total my vehicle as it really is pretty bad...hoping to find out about that this coming week....KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!
