OT...new computer

Ok. Our school is switching to MACs. We have a laptop program at our school where each child from 6th grade up, gets a laptop. And in the fall, they will all be brand new macbooks. So, the teachers all got new macbooks this week. We still have our windows based laptops while we get acclimated to the MACs. Anyway, I get on OH tonight and I CAN'T CHANGE MY FONT, OR FONT COLOR OR FONT SIZE!!!!! That's just annoying. LOL! I miss my comic sans, PINK, LARGE FONT! At least I have 3 other PCs to use at home, if I feel the need for PINK FONT! LOL! TINA

PINK?  Did someone say PINK?  I can't help you with the MAC thing but I love my PINK Dell Laptop, my PINK Logitech mouse, my PINK cell phone, my PINK Ipod.  :)

Well, I'm on the PC this AM...hence the PINK font.  I hear ya on the pink stuff.  I had no say on the color choice for the MAC, otherwise I would've opted for PINK!   I have to get a new phone in April and the one I want doesn't come in PINK!  So, I may just stick with the one I have!  Pink....It's a sickness, I tell ya....LOL!

Phyllis, Feeling pretty good.  I have my up and down days.  Sunday was not a good day.  Felt blah the whole day.  Monday was good.  Tuesday was half and half.  It goes in streaks.   I got two of my drains out and hoping that atleast one, if not both will come out this weekend.  Just trying to take it easy and rest as much as I can so the drains will GO AWAY!!  It's getting harder to stay in the house.  I am tired of being stuck here...but what to do??   I have posted two new photos (from last night) of a front and side view from the surgery.  I cannot believe it's me!!!!  Even though I am still swollen, there is a remarkable difference. I have a pink stapler on my desk!  Oh yeah, and a pink streak in my hair for a breast cancer fundraiser. I know I"m low tech, but I wanted to join in, too.

OK.... Here I am.... one of the few MAC users.....  Safari is probably the web browser you are using... I found this same thing out and I now use Firefox for my message boards... I rarely change my font, just because I think it is a pain to do and I can never figure out which one I want to use, but for some reason Safari won't do the HTML coding unless you enter it all manually, so you need to use Firefox... you can download it for free if you go to the mac site....  However if you play Pogo games, you can use Firefox for that and you have to use Safari.... You will get used to it.. I have had my MAC for about 2 years now and I will NEVER go back to Windows..... Good luck with the transition, I am sure it will go fine.... HUGS,

Well, ya know....I USE AND LOVE FIREFOX!!!! I've only had this comp for a few days. Firefox is pre-downloaded on my new comp, so I'm definitely going back to FIREFOX. Thanks for the heads up!
