Belinda, From everything I've read we should use a sublingual (sp?) B12.  Jan

Yep, you want sublingual.  It's the kind that you hold under your tongue and let it disolve in your mouth.   Because you no longer have the Intrinsic Factor in your pouch, normal B12 pills can not be used by your body.  So the ones the dissolve in your mouth will be absorbed directly into your blood stream through your tongue and cheeks. Thank You for your quick responses.  I haven't bought that kind yet and I am 7 mos. out.  I just bought the regular kind.  I must've absorbed it ok, because the blood work was satisfactory at 6 mos. post op.  I noticed I was running out and went to Meijer, but omg, there were so many kinds I was just overwhelmed.  Jeez, vitamins stump me, wth?  Anyways, thanks to you all.  I am hitting the Target pharmacy where my cousin is a Pharmacist, yep, got her degree this year from U of M.
