sleep apnea
I was wondering the same thing. I had 13 "obstructive apenic events" during my sleep study but was not diagnosed with sleep apnea (my sats never went below 88%). It did say in the sleep study report "recommend weight loss" so I hope that helps! My co-morbs aren't severe yet either. I have hip knee and back pain that the surgeon is calling "arthritis" (I saw him write it down even though I didn't use that word). He's also using urinary incont. (I pee when I sneeze/cough etc).

I believe it would be up to your ins. co.
I have Priority Health and their Obesity policy states that for sleep apnea to qualify as a comorb it needs to be greater than or = to 10 AHI
AHI stands for apnea hypopnea index and is referring to how many "episodes" you have in 1 hour.
My AHI is 14 so I have bad enough sleep disordered breathing to use it as a comorb.
Hope this helps,
