My 3 Year Journey

Today is my 3 year surgiversary.  I cannot believe that 3 years ago today I was beginning this journey. I met with my surgeon on Thursday for my yearly visit. It went very well. I am awaiting the lab results to see how my levels are. But overall he said I am doing very well. He did tell me that he would like to see me lose 10 pounds but he was pleased to learn that I am very happy and satisfied where I am. I was able to get my tummy tuck in the last year, losing 7 inches off of my waist. I am celebrating this year by going out to buy a bikini.... I cannot wait to show off my flat tummy.  For everyone that is just starting out the beginning of the journey is always the hardest... Just be patient and the answers you await will come to you.. And in the end you will be so happy you took this big leap!

Congratulations Suzanne, It's amazing how time flies when you are having fun..   Did you really lose 7 inches from your waist with the tummy tuck.  Maybe there's hope for me!  I'm looking at having the hernia repair/tummy tuck in April.  That will be my 2 year anniversary. I keep looking at my waist, thinking that it will never shrink or that it's all hernia.  Jeanne
