OT-Why does Google bring me up under mmpc michigan weight loss specialists?

Ok- So my Weight loss journey is pretty private. Today I Googled myself and the 1st thing to pop up was a link to a MMPC Michigan Weight Loss Specialists list of names and pics from here on OH. Does anyone know how to exclude themself from this list? Thanks,

Anything your post on this site or respond can be googled.(public domain) since I don't use my resl name), when I tried my real name, it didn't come up, so I tried my " board" name and sure enough-- there I was- all the way back to 2001(plus someone else who is called wiggywo and is not me and has some kind of scary things out there. Unfortunetly, we are in a technologly advanced, yet too easily technology transmittable world. That is why a month or so, I sent you a post- off site.( I always include a disclaimer too(sad when you sometimes feel you need to do that)This is a great site, don't get me wrong. just remember that if there are things you want hings private, better not to put it on a computer. Once you are on the net,,,,,, I was found on EBAY selling wl pills for some fly by night company. Legals got into it. They stopped immediately. kp

When you registered on here and put in specifics you allowed yourself to be part of a search engine. Anytime you do a review on your surgeon or do a post, you put yourself out there on the net.  You typically can't undo anything that is 'cached' on the internet. You can try to take off your surgeon and company and see if it is omitted by having chosen your surgeon in these boards listings. Dawn

Laura, just wanted to say HI, I grew up near Zeeland, and my parents still live there so I get out that way a couple times a month yet. I was actually born in Zeeland Hospital(2 hospitals ago). I also go to MMPC. -Wanda

when i used my real name i found that when i googled ,all my posts showed.........so i changed my name on oh and now the posts do not show when you google me..........important to think about depending on how one desires one's availabliltiy

Thank God I haven't used my real name! It's been almost 5 years since I've had weight loss surgery and still only one of my children know I had it.I felt it was no ones business but mine and I prefer to keep it that way.It isn't only Google,you can put your name on any search engine and come up with something.When I first got online almost 10 years ago I put my name on Yahoo just out of curiosity,you know what they say about curosity,LOL.Sure enough my name came up,someone was doing their family tree and I just happened to be a twig on that tree!! I didn't even know this person,I figured if he could find me anyone else could to.Thats when I became Gussie,I used my dogs name,I don't think anyone will be interested in looking for her!

WOW!!  I knew everything was public domain but this is ridiculous!!!
