Looking for Support Group near Livonia MI

Does anyone know of any support groups near Livonia MI?????   Beaumont Royal Oak's is great, but far from me. Thanks for the feedback. P

Is this group only for RNY or is it open to all WLS patients?

Michigan Bariatric Institute has open support for all surgery types.  The next meeting (they are monthly) is Wednesday, Jan 30 from 7:00 until 9:00.  Meetings are in the hospital auditorium, roughly underneath the gift shop.

MBI is the program at St Mary Mercy on Five Mile and Levan in Livonia.

Thanks for letting me know. I believe that my surgeon has a group, but it is over 45 mins away. Livonia is so much closer. I will have to look into it once I am post-op, in Feb or March.  Thanks again!

There's a support group that meets at the library on Plymouth/Farmington Rds on a Monday night. The meeting information and contact person can be located on the BARIX website.  It's a small group usually 8-13 people when I've attended.

 

Thanks to all *****sponded. I am going to try out the Barix support group...it is down the street from me.  I called and they said all are welcome even if you didn't have surgery at Barix. Patti
