Does anyone know........

Does anyone know of other Michigan boards/sites on the net?  It can be for lapbanders or just bariatric surgery in general.  Don't get me wrong I love this site but I met some other banders at the barix clinic and they told me of a yahoo site but I can not find it for the life of me.  Thanks, Patti

I don't know if this has anything to do with why you can't find the other groups, but I heard that YAHOO has done away with many of its user-generated chat rooms.  Don't know....might have something to do with it.  Now, in the past, I have found yahoo groups by doing a search on yahoo.  I don't know if that will help you at all or not, but might be worth a try if you haven't already.  Good luck....maybe some other MI banders will pop in and let you know.  Tina

There is a site called Journeys through Weight Loss Surgery in Western Michigan. It is a yahoo site, Open other than to spamm., Has pre- post,good, bad, some off subjec comments, they meat occasionally for coffee or lunches(some of them) many located in Grand Rapids area no partiullar Doctor or office requiewd, Hope that helps. patti there is a yahoo group but it is not very active I also belong to that group, the most actice lap-band group I have seen is on My Space under groups and then Lap band le tme know if you need help, there are lots of just lap lap-band patient on that site. I also like this site so I am on both all the time, On my space there is also just a weight loss support group. I think more is always better
