I got my surgery date!!!!!

I finally have my surgery date.......March 4th.......start pre-op liquid diet Feb. 7.  Finally ;0)

Congratulations, Beth!! I think I saw you last night at Sparrow but it was so crowded that I didn't get to talk to anyone . Good luck as you begin your journey!

Yeah! I think you were up front.  My husband was the one helping bring in all the chairs.  Glad to hear they are going to work on getting a new location.  

Jenn-I saw you too!  I just in no way recognized you!  I was sitting qt the table closest to you.  You were wearing a light blue blouse??!!!  I was one over from Beth.  I also saw and met Joanna from this board.  She was there last night across from all of us.

That was me! Funny thing was, Johanna and I used to be super close but had lost contact with each other.  We worked together many years ago.  I had been thinking about her for the last couple of months trying to figure out how I could find her. I really had to drag myself to that meeting as I'd had a really long day.  Something told me I had better go and now I know why  . I hope that all of the meetings aren't "infomercials" for Sparrow and the MAC.  I've been looking for a group setting, but last night was so overwhelming. I'm going to give it one more try next month. I wish we could have talked, but it was just so crazy! Jenn

Yeah Beth!!!  3 weeks to the day after mine.  I start liquids a week from today-not looking forward to that.

You'll do great!  We'll help each other....I am already planning on not eating in the breakroom....only at my desk.   I thought Dr. Venezuala was a "Hoot" last night.  You could tell he just came off from a long day.  The next support group is on "Valentine's Day", I doubt I will go, hubby usually like to do something with our girls.
