Looking for a good Primary Physician in Ann Arbor

Hello all, I am going to the get sleeve, and Dr. Pleatman will be my surgeon. I am a private pay patient, so really this process could go quite rapidly. But first I want to get checked out by a regular old doctor.  I don't currently have a PCP and I hate just picking a name off the website. I am looking for a doctor who can give me an objective opinion and who is not anti-weight loss surgery. I live in South Lyon and work in Ann Arbor, but would be willing to try anywhere in the metro area.  If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Leigh

Thank you for your help! I have an appointment with Dr. Balogh at the end of the month. Unfortunately that is the soonest I could get in, but waiting for a physician who is open to WLS is better than going right away to a doc who thinks that I am just being lazy.  Dr. Wilkerson wasn't within my PPO network. I see Dr. Catherine Wilkerson at Packard Community Clinic in Ann Arbor.  She's been my PCP for nearly four years and I just love her!  She was very supportive about me having WLS -- in fact, she's the one who initially broached the subject and wanted me to consider having it.
