TOO cold for me ~ I'm the one that you'd find sitting inside the ski lodge, by the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate...and probably wearing the "fake" leg cast...just to make it look good

I skied Shawnee Peak once. It was fun. I did the bunny trail all day, got confident and went up the intermediate trail. Well up there it's much colder and the snow had iced over. Needless to say I ended up in the woods. LOL. I was waist deep in snow, no mittens or a hat. It was spring skiing so was warmer earlier in the day. Got out of the bushes and couldn't get my ski back on. I was so pissed. I started walking down the hill. Come to find out my ski was locked like it was still on my boot. I'm game to try it again though. I should have gone up the intermediate trail earlier when the snow was still soft. I couldn't get my ski to cut thru the crust.
