SOOOOOOOO
I am the same weight I was on Oct 22nd. I def put the pieces together of exercise being what dropped the weight, and I have "walked away the pounds" with Leslie Sasone 3 times last week, but NOTHING, actually went up a pound for the first time since surgery, and the lost that and yesterday up that pound again...so adjusting we will go, I guess. I am not freaked out, just a tad worried I will be stuck in the 150s as if that is my proper weight, but I don't think it is...sooooooo...walking today.
Lots going on here. Out house showed to a CT couple who are coming back on the 22nd for a second look. Lots of questions flying back and forth between the realtors, so i think that is good. Our realtor is fairly new and he panics a bit, thinking we need to give the farm away, almost but not quite literally, by lowering the price or adding acreage BEFORE they even make an offer. No, no no. We are sitting on the price for awhile. We continue to improve and fix the little things that have needed fixing for awhile and if possible will do a couple of bigger things, like new washing machine and cooktop in kitchen, but as far as adding a bathroom or gutting the oldest room or replacing carpeting..no. Not going to do those big ticket items. Can't afford to.
I cannot tell you how stressful this is, having the house show ready all the time, besides the fact I really want to stay right here!!!
AND, my brother from VT is moving in for the winter, today, so his stuff AND his beagle will be with us. That is cool, I love him so much and want him to get healthier and hope we will be able to help him with mind and body. No caveats to this, I am really so glad he is coming. I think lots of people are going to need to help each other out this winter. He is helping us by helping to keep the fires going during the day when we are at work, he wants to work nights, and having someone here to mind the dogs and fires when we are on the island in FEb and March..4 weeks this year!! woo hoo.
So, have 2 people from Maine having the surgery today, one is my friend from Lovell, Kathy V. I went to see her yesterday bringing some Unjury stuff I never finished, and she is going to be super at this, I think. She, like a lot of us , is sick and tired of being sick and tired. So prayers for her and Shelly today.
DH and I are traveling to NY to see our precious daughter and our grandson Thursday. It is a 6 hour drive and we are staying at a hotel as she really doesn't have a place for us to sleep. S'ok, should be fun. Can't wait to see the Jax-smak bebe boy. We will be there for 3 nights, home Sunday, but I will be around until then.
Love to all

96 lbs lost and gone forever!! To God goes the Glory!
Finally it moved!
Not sure why, but the David Bowie song...."Changes" popped into my head as I was reading your post! So many things going on for you! Lost of stress and worry! Remember to breathe!!!!! One day at a time, ok???
I hear ya about the up and down 1 pound..........that's what I do MOST of the time! It's annoying more than anything! I'm with you though.....I'm feeling so much better than I ever have and if this is where my body wants to be, then "so be it"! It's all good! We'll just keep working our tool and see where it takes us!
Enjoy the grandbaby and have a safe trip! Enjoy!
Hugs,
Ruth
