WOWZA moment

Ok...so some of you who watch my Vlogs may remember the one where I modeled a pair of black jeans (size 30) that fit comfortably for the first time since I bought them before I began this journey when they were too tight to be at all comfortable. By the time I modeled them, much to my surprise...they fit and even had a bit of room. My goal was/is to fit in one leg. Well, I can't do that yet but they are far too big to wear any longer and today I dug through some clothes I got at the clothing exchange at EMMC and found size 22 jeans that fit comfortably and I am wearing right now! This means that at least in jeans, I have dropped from a 32 to a 22! Amazing! And while I have been complaining about my slow loss (only 36 pounds since 8/11 the date of my surgery...61 pounds since the beginning) how can I not be thrilled with this!

You're right! I can be thrilled and I am! And I just went out and got a new kitty/companion for MoodyBlueEyes to celebrate...only he's spitting and growling at her right now

and neither look as happy as I do.

I just lost two 14yo cats last week, one I found dead on my deck and the other just hasn't showed up in 2 weeks. I am pretty convinced the coyotes got them, and the one on the deck, Nikki, had a heart attack running from them, made it to the deck and passed without a mark on him. Cody didn't make it, I guess. The wierd thing, they are twins, and it seems like they died on the same day....So we are down to 2 cats and 2 dogs....:' '(

Introducing a new cat to an "established" cat isn't always easy (we did it a few years ago and the youngest one STILL thinks he "rules", but my older female cat STILL puts him in his place! haha!)

you know what they say, and believe me it's true. even when your not loosing weight your sizes change. I never took measurments, but I know my clothes have changes, and not cause of weight loss. Congrats to you on your new size and your new ***** (well)?? WE miss you Terrie

what an awesome feeling. you'll totally freak out when you try on your old pants and think OMG I can't believe I used to wear these!
