Protein shakes

Okay I need help. I am on my liquid diet yet again. (3rd time.) I cant get them down anymore. this is only the 2nd day. I am so worried what will happen after surgery. I even tried to put the powder in pudding. Nope up she comes. I cant even stand the look of the dog gone package. Any suggestions?

I use Davinci Sugar Free flavored syrups in mine, I always find them at TJ Maxx and they usually have more flavors than the grocery store has. It really helps a lot. Also sometimes I put a little bit of powdered sugar free instant pudding mix in the shake and blend it up. Not enough to make pudding, just enough to make it taste good.

I don't know about your program, but EMMC allows these other items on the liquid protein phase:

Dannon light & Fit yogurt w/ 2 T powered milk added
Healthy choice cream soups, made witth skimmed milk, strained
Dannon light & fit yogurt smoothie

Nope cant have that stuff. only broth, milk in my protein shakes jello and popsciles. woo hoo.

I hate most flavors of protein pwders, too thick or cloying or something but love the PVL Whey Artic Cappachino from Nashua Nutrition...if all else fails, block your nose!!

Have you tried the protein bullets from GNC or the Isopure? Some people love em, other, hate em. I tried the syrups too and it helped. If the smell is getting to you, put them in kids "sippie" cups with a lid..maybe that will help? Good luck!
