When/Did you get your rings resized?

I am curious to know if anyone has had their rings resized and how long you waited.  Mine are flopping all over the place.  The diamond ends up between two fingers or totally upside down in the palm of my hand.  That is if they stay on.  If I put lotion on they are off, shower they are off, if going anyplace where I won't be constantly checking them they are off.

I am wondering if I should wait until I am at where I think I will end up?  I have tried those plastic things to make them fit better and they are just plain annoying.  I go weeks without wearing them because I forget to put them back on after I needed lotion or something.

Tanya, first of all you look amazing, and we miss you. second, don't risk the chance to loose your rings, either take them off and wait, or put them on your middle finger.  I know how you probably feel about keeping them on, but it would be hell if you lost them.  how about on a chain?  anyway, how are the babies?  come visit more often.  Best of luck,  Hugs, Cheryl

I wish I could get on more.  It's my busy season trying to sell some reports before the end of the year.  Plus the babies have been in a very cranky stage and have been a lot of work recently.  I do pop in an read posts though when I can to keep up on everyone.

Good idea about keeping them on a chain...although that might be just one more thing for the babies to pull on ha ha.  I think I will wait until my weight is steady and it is where I think I will be.  The loss is now coming VERY VERY slow.  So it might be a long time before I get those rings sized.

Great question.  I was wondering the same thing.  Mine are really loose too.  Great job on the weight loss Tanya.

I dont need to worry bout that cause I got mine when I was the size I am now lol For years I could not even wear them .

tanya i just got mine back today im almost 16 months out come nov...they took it down 4 sizes...but before that i went to jewler and got a metal ring guard which was alot better than those plastic ones...the metal ring guard works well. it was only 5 bucks..but ur far enough out to have them resized.. the jewler charge me 20 buck a ring to resize i didnt think that was bad better than replacing them or not wearing them.. hope this helps

I am totally gonna get the metal guard!  Thanks for the tip.  I think I will wait awhile to get them resized until I lose some more.

I was also wondering the same thing!
I wear mine around my neck.
The hubby would be upset if I didnt, he doesnt like the idea of them not on my finger to begin with!!
He said when I am done losing we'll get them resized or maybe a new set hehe

Tanya, I had mine sized about 1 month ago.  I am 8 months post op today. I couldn't wear them at all.  I was thinking about waiting but I was only about 10lbs from my goal so decided to go ahead with it.  I was so afraid I would lose my rings or one of my stones because they always flipped upside down and I was banging them on everything.   I tried the plastic things too and had no luck at all.  You look great!!

I had my rings sized about 1 1/2 months ago because they were falling off and I was afraid to lose them!  Only problem is that I'll probably have to have them done again!  Good luck!
