Personally, I think your doc allows soft foods way too soon. I was on a liquid/blended diet for the first month. And then progressed to soft foods (like what you are now) on the 2nd month. Give that a try. Stick to liquid protein supplements for now if you can.

our doctor put us on liquids for 2 weeks, then pureed for 2 weeks then soft for 2 weeks and then solids. it's best at this stage to only eat one food at a time also. the combination may be too much. think of your pouch as a baby's. start slow and work up to the solids. sounds like you did as you were supposed to as far as chewing and taking your time. it just your pouch isn't ready for solids.

Honestly it took me a good 4 months to be able to eat like they said i should have been and not have my stomach hate me for it. Maybe you should slow down a little more even? I know it sounds crazy but the slower I eat the better it is. I take an hour and a half to eat my breakfast sandwich (egg, 2 pieces of bacon, cheese and a half an english muffin) and sometimes it still bothers me 6 months out.

I phoned the Nut and Dr. yesterday. I'm back to liquid proteins for the next 5 days. My pouch is so much happier. I didn't realize how bad I was feeling.
They explained that everyone is different and for me my pouch isn't healed enough. Also gave me a ray of hope that healing isn't complete until 6 or more weeks out.
