Returning to work

It is 3 weeks today since surgery. Except for the occasional foamies I'm feeling pretty good. Anyone have a good foamy cure?

Yawn,  When did it start staying dark at 5:30am??? It's early, got my protein in hand, getting ready, going to wear my new dress. I'm driving in the carpool today, (1 hr drive to Augusta). Not sure how much stuff will be in my "in" basket after 3 weeks away, not to mention the hundreds of e-mails clogging up my computer- Yikes! I could talk myself into another day off.......

Have a great day!

Good luck Emily and take it easy today.  As for the foamies it kind of depends on what causes them to start with. If it is from getting something stuck and you would know cause that hurts like nothing you could imagine. Papaya Enzyme is what the RNY boarders reccomend. .

Hey Emily,
Good luck today and take it easy.  I have found the littlest bit of stress cause me to have problems swallowing so go slow today and sip all day, the biggest issue when you are busy and distracted is...distracted eating.  So stay mindful of what goes in and how you process it. NO MINDLESS EATING...like we all did sometimes at our desks...
You are in my thoughts today.
love,

Best of Luck today,  You are doing awesome and will do fine.  remember to rest, you will be tired this week, even if it means taking a 30 min nap when you get home, you do it!  Take time for yourself, remember, sleep is the best way to stay healthy.  good luck, Hugs, Cheryl

Good luck back at work today!  Remember to take it slow, rest if you need to!  Even if your job isn't very strenuous, you'll probably be tired!  It's normal!

Foamies......yuck!  (I haven't had them often, but usually from eating too quickly or eating 1 bite too many!)  Take your time, chew, chew, chew!

Good luck at work!
Hugs!

I think they've all covered it - as they say take care of yourself - remember that it has only been three weeks since you had major surgery.

good luck going back to work. don't overdo the first day. as far as foamies, eat slower and chew more. also, don't drink to close to eating. i've had my share of them too. it takes a while to learn your full feeling again. i notice a runny nose and hiccups when i start to get full.

Thank you all.
Today went very well. Only 657 e-mails clogging up my work computer !!! About 1/2 were spam.

I brought my lunch/snack rescue kit. Lunch went fine- 2T cottage cheese. I'm full. Gotta get better on getting the water in. I got in about 40 oz, and felt SO dry.

I am a bit tired tonight. Told DH it's an early bed time evening.
