I'm just curious how you handle supper with your family.  So what's for supper for the family and what you eating??

I'm making a Roaster Chicken w/stuffing and potatoes for family
I would eat the Chicken w/ a side salad and maybe bite of stuffing and pot (but I'm on liquids tonight due to fill today)

Most of the time I don't sit down with the family when they eat as I usually have something totally different. Got to find what works for you I guess. {{ HUGS}}

I usually eat just what they are having only in a smaller portion.  Last night we had Pork Chops, potato and salad. I had 1/2 a chop, very small amount of potato and a small amount of salad. The only thing I have found that I can't eat with them is dessert, but I don't miss it.  I am a little nervous with Thanksgiving coming up, it used to be my favorite holiday.

Pretty much eat the same...It depends if its higher fat than I should have then I don't...It really depends on what it is...Like if we have something that goes over pasta, I don't have it...Like I made a spaghetti sauce with onions, celery, mushrooms and green peppers and made it with a little ground beef and lean ground pork.  I had this with them except I didn't have mine over spaghetti, I just ate the sauce...Last night I made pork chops, mashed potato and broccoli and cauliflower.  I had 2 Tbsp. of the potato, some cauliflower and half a small chop.  Tonight I am making the Italian Chicken in the crockpot that Cheryl posted and I am going to serve this over rice, but I will have just the chicken stuff.  I don't miss the pasta and rice...I did eat whole wheat spaghetti once and it wasn't bad, but just wasn't in the mood for pasta.  I have tried regular pasta once, was going to have a bit with a meal and it didn't agree with me, so I figure hey even better if my pouchie doesn't like it...So pretty much I eat what the family does except in much smaller portions...I amaze the boys with my portions...They look at me like your nuts and going to starve, lol...Anyway Have a Good Day!  Angela

I usually get home and eat alone because I get home too late. (Just my husband and I left at home) But I had a doctor's appointment with Dr. Loggins and I do need to get more protein in my day.  The slow cooker is the right idea I guess according to corrine.  So I will be trying the recipe.  I've also been having trouble with eating tomatoes (stewed and sauces) any suggestion? Total is only 55 in 6 months 25 left.  They were please I would of been happier at 65 with 15 but will take what I can get.

That is awesome, great job.  Alot better then me.  I've been buying the frozen chicken breast in a bag at Walmart, I dont' usually buy their meat, but for some reason this chicken is very moist and not dry breast like the others.  If I was you, i'd buy some reduced fat cream soups, (mushroom, brocolii, chicken) and pour 2 can's into crock pot with the chicken, seasoning add 1/2 can of chic broth so it isn't so thick, add veggie too if you want more flavor (onions, mushrooms, peppers).  add them latter in the cooking tho, no need cook them for 12 hours.  MY DH hates chicken and LOVED this (mine had tomatoes tho).  He actually asked for me to make it again, I'm sure we could play around with the recipe, make it Mexican.  I'll keep you in mind when I make something different without tomatoes.  Best of Luck,  keep up the great work.  Hugs, Cheryl
