OK so I have a Question?  Yesterday when I got up my scale said 309... when I went to the Nut office it said 307.... Should I go by My scale or the nuts?  When I got up this mornin I weighed myself and my scale said 306... Should I assume that it said 304?  What would you guys do? Take my scale or the NUt scale... this has happened everytime that I have went... Its a 2lb difference....

no no, go by yours when you weigh on yours and go by his when you weigh on his, I just use mine to keep track of how i'm doing, his is official.   looks like your scale is 2 lbs more then his. figure out the difference to give you an idea.  It don't always come out what you expect.  don't stress over it.

I use my home scale for tracking my weight here. BUT your official medical record it the Nut's or MD's scale.
my home scale is about 2-3 lbs less than at the Nut's

What everyone else said!  haha

Also, keep in mind, depending on WHEN you weigh yourself will make a difference.   For example:  (I've done this just as a test)  I weigh myself before I get in the shower and then again right after I get out.......I gain 1/2 a pound in 15 minutes!!  haha....So, if you weighed yourself at home, neked and they weighed you 2 hours later with clothes on......it will make a difference!

I usually track at home but my medical record weight is always higher as I'm dressed and it's later in the day when I see the doc.

Don't stress over it ok???   You're heading in the right direction!
Hugs!

Yep that happens to me too, my scale and the doc's scale are 4lbs different.  I weigh less at the doc's than I do at home.  The scale at the doc's office should be more reliable though because it's calibrated more.  I have a digital one at home and do not know how to calibrate it.  So when I weigh myself at home I just take into consideration that it will be 4 lbs less and go from there.  I have also tried just for fun, weighing myself before and after a shower.  I weigh more after I take a shower...go figure.  Hydrating your skin I guess, that's the only answer I have to that one! lol.

Scale obsession......it's a curse I tell ya! In the end - it doesn't really matter at all - as a tool to aid in measuring your success......you are loosing the same amount of weight on both scales, regardless of one weighing you 2 lbs more than the other. It's all just numbers.

the further out you get the less important the scales seems to get. i weigh every day but only take the monday weight as my counting weight. i use my scale to go by as i hardly see the doc now. make sure to take your measurements as sometimes the scales work against us. the measurements will show you are truly losing even though the scale might not move.

you are sooo close to the 200's. you must be psyched!

I still like to think that I am down to 304... SO that is what I put on my board here...  But  thanks soo much for your input... I almost want to go over to the office and say.... Hey I did it i got to the 16lb mark.... Hurry hurry send it to the insurance before the weight majically comes back.... But i guess that I will wait for Friday... I am going to bring my results over to the office so I know that they get there and maybe i will step on the scale just to show....

dr. loggins sends in the original weight to insurance. had he sent my after weight i would not have qualified. my before weight put me at a bmi of 40. i only had one co-moribidity so i wouldn't have qualified if my bmi went below 40.
