Yes, that is pretty much it!     I don't take B-1 or E or K or zinc though.... We should all be taking this, at least the RNY patients as we don't absorb vitamins like normal people do.

No calories listed on what I take.  I don't think they have significant calories.

I don't take nearly that - I take a total of 4 calcium 2x daily and 1 multivitamin - it varies for RNYer's

I totally understand why, and that sounds reasonable Candace, but that list is just unreal, no wonder so many WLS patients stop taking them.  do you think she was exagerating?  I didn't realize it was that much.  I would love to hear how it differs from one dr. to another, just to see.

I think it's like everything else, our bodies are so different. Some people also are extra cautious based on information they get from sources other than the docs as well and will try the best of all advice....some people also have more issues with malabsoption than others.

I forgot that I do take a b12 2x a week.

Holy COW.
I take:

2 chewable flintstones a day
2 os-cal chewable calciiums a day
1 Vit D once a week
1 Sub-lingual Vit B-12 once a week
At my 6 month blood test there may be some iron supplement.

Sure sounds like some expensive urine to me. You body can only absorb so much vitamins, the rest gets peed out.

Yeah, I think some of that list is exaggerated.  But you may want to switch to Centrum Chewables for your multi-vit.   Flinstones don't have enough vitamins for an adult.  This is what my Nut tells me, anyway.  I also take the sub-lingual b-12 once a day.  The bottle says 1 to 3 a day.
