So....here's how I did it this morning:
Chix breasts, 1 can tom paste, can of mushrooms, can of diced tomatoes, a little bit of Prego sauce to add more "juice".......all in the slow cooker for the day!   I'll let you know how it turns out.

Ok I too have mine going in the slow cooker and here is what I used:

1 Big can Stewed tomatoes 1 small can diced Tomatoes
Fajita Seasoning (cause my little market didn't have the McCormick seasoning or atleast I couldn't find it)
1 pkg. fresh mushrooms
1 can tomato paste
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

So I know the fajita seasoning will be a little different, but we like all the seasonings that are in it so I said what the heck...Looks like your recipe is making everyone want it Cheryl.  Its funny too because yesterday I was looking for a crockpot recipe for either pork or chicken and nothing really appealed to me.  Then last night you posted that and I knew I was going to make that today!  I will let you know how it comes out.  Last night I made something different for us anyway, you may all have tried it.  I had boneless pork loin chops and rolled/coated them with a spicy brown mustard and then rolled them in bread crumbs and seasonings and baked.  They were yummy and the mustard kept them nice and moist.  I also made garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower.  Yumo!  Have a good day all!  Angela

Ok OK......so, my version was more like chicken parmesan!!  haha...I didn't have any of the Italian slow cooker stuff!  BUT!!!!!!!!!!!  I loved it and DD loved it too!!!!   DH and DS#1 didn't care for it too much (they said the chicken was TOO soft!  DUH!  isn't that what a slow cooker does??)  I thought it was yummy!  AND...the pouch liked it too!

I'll try it your way next time Cheryl!  I think it would be better like that!
Thanks!

Mine too came out excellent.  My hubby usually doesn't like "crockpot meat" as he puts it but he loved it and so did all 3 children.  I like I said, used fajita seasoning instead of the McCormick because my little market didn't have it but it was so good.  It did bother my pouchie but I think its because I ate a little too fast, cause I didn't eat with everyone and then went out and just ate when I came back.  So I think I let myself get a little too hungry and then hurried..A big no no with the pouchie, but its passing so I am all good...I will definately make this again...Yumo...Have a good night all...Angela
